Scary
I’m not quite sure how I stumbled upon this, but there is some really scary stuff out there on the good ol’ web.
Penn LGBT Center launches blog
The LGBT Center at the University of Pennsylvania just launched a blog! Actually, they took their periodic newsletter, OUTlines, and repackaged it as a blog. And who programmed said blog? Yours truly, that’s who! I still have some work to do on it, but it’s there and it’s functional.
The launch of the OUTlines blog coincides with a soft launch of MyLGBTC, which is a portion of the web site where people can log in and update their information in the Center’s database. When logged in, a person can also post a comment to a blog article. It’s a humble beginning, but I’m pretty happy with it.
Disco Chicks?
I’ve been noticing some really annoying banner ads on my blog as of late. The latest one consists of chickens with afros flying through the air with bullseyes on them. You can allegedly win a no-charge ringtone if you hit one of these "disco chicks." Oh, and they keep clucking, which is by far the worst part of it all. Shoot me.
What do you get when you look at my blog (besides sleepy)?
I’m so ashamed!
I am the worst blogger of all time. (Like anyone can even know that!) But seriously, it’s been over a month since my last post. I’m so ashamed of myself. Needless to say, I shall be rectifying this immediately. Expect a steady stream of pointless posts. Yes, nothing will change except for the frequency.
