You know you have a problem when…
I went to Toys "R" Us last night on my way home from work. I try to check out their selection of Transformers about once a week or so, as well as Target’s, and occasionally I even go to Wal-Mart (eek!). I picked up one that I didn’t have, and I began to walk around the store glancing at some other stuff. And I began to doubt that I did not already have the one in my hand.
Admittedly, this has happened at least once before. You know you have a problem as a collector when you’re not even sure which pieces you do and do not have. In my defense, though, I have yet to unbox my Transformers since the move out to the ‘burbs, and I have more than a few still in their packaging. I guess a new one doesn’t really register with me until I’ve opened it. Still, I’m pretty sure that I should be institutionalized.
