The Lord of the Rings! The Musical

I found this great clip from Late Night with Conan O’Brien in which they spoof the Lord of the Rings musical.  (You read that correctly.  A stage musical version of The Lord of the Rings just opened in Toronto.)  I subsequently discovered that this free Friendster blog sucks because I can’t put my own HTML in a post.  So instead of embedding it here, I can only provide you with a link to the clip.  It’s just one extra click, though… I think you can handle it!

UPDATE:  The clip has since been removed.  :(

You know you have a problem when…

I went to Toys "R" Us last night on my way home from work.  I try to check out their selection of Transformers about once a week or so, as well as Target’s, and occasionally I even go to Wal-Mart (eek!).  I picked up one that I didn’t have, and I began to walk around the store glancing at some other stuff.  And I began to doubt that I did not already have the one in my hand.

Admittedly, this has happened at least once before.  You know you have a problem as a collector when you’re not even sure which pieces you do and do not have.  In my defense, though, I have yet to unbox my Transformers since the move out to the ‘burbs, and I have more than a few still in their packaging.  I guess a new one doesn’t really register with me until I’ve opened it.  Still, I’m pretty sure that I should be institutionalized.

I’m so ashamed!

I am the worst blogger of all time.  (Like anyone can even know that!)  But seriously, it’s been over a month since my last post.  I’m so ashamed of myself.  Needless to say, I shall be rectifying this immediately.  Expect a steady stream of pointless posts.  Yes, nothing will change except for the frequency.
